Swanbrook Coach Service To Oxford

Swanbrook Coaches run a daily coach service from Gloucester and Cheltenham if you go after 9am first coach after 9am is at 9.25 on Sat and 10.25 week days. Returning at 18.00 hours.

Worth knowing
From Cheltenham, Oxford is only an hour and a half's journey away on one of our comfortable, modern buses, and it makes a few stops along the way including Burford, Witney, before it terminates in the centre of Oxford.
With three comfortable, modern coaches running each way Monday-Friday, four on Saturday and one on Sundays, you can plan your day to suit you.
Our Gloucester-Cheltenham-Oxford service appeared on the list of the "Best 20 rides for over 60s travelling free in Britain" published by the Telegraph newspaper on Saturday, April 6th 2008.
Fare Information
No advance booking required or indeed possible. Simply pay the driver as you board the coach. There are different stops along the way, including around Cheltenham, Burford, Witney and Oxford, with Sunday and some weekday stops extended to Gloucester (see timetable for details).

  • 10 journey ticket: £40.00

Buy one day return, get one half price! This offer applies midweek only. With this special midweek bonus offer - buy one day return and get another at half price* - you and a friend or a member of your family could travel for £15 return for the two of you.
*Two people travelling together on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday on the same service between Cheltenham/Gloucester and Oxford in either direction are eligible for this offer. Buy one day return and get the other half price.
Concessions and free passes
Over 60s free travel passes are eligible for travel after 9 am. Passes must be clearly shown to the driver at the time of boarding and free travel cannot be permitted if you are not in possession of a valid pass.

See extraordinary masterpieces by some of the most famous artists of the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist movements. This major exhibition includes a matchless group of paintings and watercolours by Paul C├ęzanne, as well as paintings and sculptures by artists including Paul Gauguin, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Edouard Manet, Vincent van Gogh, Jacques Lipchitz, Edgar Degas and Amedeo Modigliani.
This collection formed by Henry and Rose Pearlman after the Second World War is one of the most important in North America and this will be the first time it has ever been shown in Europe.

Advance booking is advised, but tickets can be bought on the day of your visit at the Museum if tickets are available.
