Jane and I took the ‘free’ bus to Oxford on Saturday and visited a little hidden gem of a gallery there. Jane had discovered that Christ Church College contained a collection of paintings and drawings that were open to public view. Turned out to be a small world class selection of art, from Verrocchio to Van Dyke, with Lippi, Durer, Michelangelo and Raphael too; all in a lovely setting. Well worth a visit and the £2 admission.
